What is it?
Did you ever tried to control devices by the muscle activity of your arm? Measuring your heartbeat or do some muscle stimulation? With the textile skin electrode all of these things are possible. The skin side of the electrode is coated with a high conductive and washable material. The bottom side of the electrode is a conductive hot melt. Therefore you can build your own ECG shirt by ironing the electrodes on your shirt

Product compatibility
Use existing heart rate or EMG boards which are connected with conventional electrodes. You can replace these conventional electrodes with your sensor shirt which includes the Textile Skin Electrode – Wear it!
Additional functionalities
To connect the sensor shirt with your board you can use the 15mm smart textiles snap connector. Together with the snaps you get a washable sensor textile which can be easily separated from your measurement board.
